That can only be answered honestly once we have measured up. The price follows the area, the version, the standing time and how the scaffold can be tied in and reached. The figure goes into the quotation, not into a telephone call beforehand.

01 Overview
The scaffold is where every other trade goes to work
Anyone refurbishing, plastering, roofing or painting in Heinsberg works on what the scaffolder put up. That is why every job starts with measuring up on site rather than with a flat rate over the telephone.
Anton Muckel Gerüstbau GmbH is based in Linnich, right next to the Heinsberg district. For the town of Heinsberg that means short journeys: we look at the site, take the measurements, settle the ground conditions, the ties and the access, and then put the scaffold up so that the trades behind us can work without rebuilding it.
The work is done in system scaffolding. Facade scaffolds run along houses and works halls, birdcage scaffolds carry working decks inside, heavy duty scaffolds take loads that an ordinary bay no longer carries. Where no standard bay fits, a special structure is built.
The scaffold is hired out for as long as it stands. Alterations during the build belong to that, as does dismantling once the last trade has come down. The company runs its own vehicles: a lorry with a loading crane and container body, telehandlers with various attachments, and hoists for hire, with and without passenger carriage.
02 Services
The register of services
These are the services the company carries out. Which of them your site in Heinsberg needs is settled when we measure up.
-
Facade scaffolds
The working scaffold at a house, a works hall or an extension. Height, width and ties follow the trade that will work on it.
-
Birdcage scaffolds
Working decks indoors, where a ceiling, a hall or a stairwell cannot be reached from below.
-
Suspended scaffolds
Where nothing can stand underneath: the working deck hangs from the structure above.
-
Mobile tower scaffolds
Scaffolds on castors for work that moves through a space.
-
Modular scaffolds
System scaffolding with node points, for plans that are not rectangles.
-
Heavy duty scaffolds
For loads an ordinary bay no longer takes: a supporting structure rather than a working scaffold.
-
Industrial scaffolds
Scaffolds in plant and halls, including while production continues.
-
Special structures
Where the system reaches its limit, the answer is planned and built for that one building.
-
Temporary roofs
Weather protection over a roof or a site so that work can carry on.
-
Stage building
Stages built from scaffolding components for events.
-
Stair tower systems
A safe way up and down for people and for material.
-
Escape stairs
Stairs as a second way out while the proper one cannot be used.
-
Hoists for hire
Construction hoists, with and without passenger carriage, for material and for the crew.
-
Telehandlers
With various attachments, for everything that has to go up.
-
Lorry with loading crane
With a container body. Delivery and collection are done by the company’s own vehicles.
Scaffolding is bespoke work on somebody else’s building. Which version fits is decided at the building, not in a catalogue.
03 Halls and industry
Indoors, overhead, with production running
Not every scaffold stands at a facade. In halls, exhibition builds and plant the scaffold carries the working deck itself, and the work underneath carries on.
A birdcage scaffold is built up from the floor until the working deck sits where the work is: under the hall roof, against the structure, above plant that cannot be taken out. What matters is the load assumption, the bracing and a way up that the material can take as well.
With industrial scaffolds the running operation comes on top of that. Access, escape routes and handovers are agreed beforehand, so that the scaffold locks nobody out and the hall stays usable.
- Load assumption
- What goes onto the deck decides the bay, the boards and the bracing.
- Access
- A stair tower or a ladder run, depending on the route material and people take.
- Sheeting
- Sheet or netting, when dust, wind and weather are to stay outside.

05 How it runs
From the first call to the dismantling
Six steps, in this order. What happens in between depends on the building.
-
Enquiry
You describe the job: what is coming up, where it is, from when and for which trade.
-
Measuring up on site
We look at the facade, the ground, the access and the possibilities for tying in.
-
Quotation
Scope, version and standing time in writing, before anything is driven to the site.
-
Delivery and erection
The material arrives on our own lorry, the crew erects the scaffold and sets out the lifts.
-
Handover
Before it is released the crew goes over the scaffold. After that you take it on for your trade.
-
Standing time and dismantling
Reachable for alterations while it stands, then dismantling and removal.

The town of Heinsberg with its districts, together with the towns and municipalities of the Heinsberg district. The registered office is in Linnich, immediately next door.
We put scaffolds up in the town of Heinsberg and in the surrounding district. For the journey the access to the site counts for more than the distance: a lorry with a loading crane needs room to unload, and that is settled when we measure up.

08 Questions
Questions put to us
What people usually ask before the first enquiry.
That depends on the building and on how full the diary is. Give us in your enquiry the period in which the scaffold is to stand and you will get a firm answer to it.
Yes. Birdcage scaffolds, working decks in halls and stairwells and special structures are part of the programme, as are industrial scaffolds in plant.
Yes, alterations belong to the job. Please call before anybody alters it themselves: changes to a scaffold belong in the hands of the scaffolder.
Yes. Hoists with and without passenger carriage and telehandlers with various attachments are part of the programme. They are delivered on our own lorry with its loading crane.
Yes. Whether it is a house, a works hall or a plant: the scaffold that suits the trade on site is the one that goes up.
